[CVALE] Connecting to a T1

I was able to use the MS Windows OS to determine the model of my
Ethernet card. It is a 3Com EtherLink XL. I found a Linux driver for the
card online. I didn't find any debian packages for the driver, so I
think I may have to compile it from the source code. Some other websites
mentioned that I might need to recompile the kernel, which sounds
scary...

 

I posted a message to the Debian User mailing list. Hopefully they can
tell me the best way to proceed on my system. If I get stuck with this,
I'll let you guys know. (It looks like a may have found a reason to come
to that next installfest!)
