Hi Wayne,

A few years ago I used Win4Lin to run MSWindows 98 on a linux box.  It 
worked well for my simple requirement.  I think it cost me around $100 
at that time. Perhaps it will run MS Windows XP by now.

I believe the free VMWare package that Pete mentioned is called 
VMPlayer.  There was an article on in in the January issue of Linux 
Magazine.
