[CVALE] GIMP Help - Never Mind

Thanks for the references Ramona.

I also have the Phyllis Davis book from 2000.  I was looking in through it earlier today in an 
attempt to  solve my problem.

I occasionaly create DVDs of home movies and special projects.  Over the past few years I've used 
Adobe Premier for the editing and a couple of different, simple programs for DVD authoring.

I'm happy with Premier (except that I have to fire up an MS Windows system).  But would like to do 
significantly more on the DVD authoring side. (without spending $15K).  It's been 3 or 4 years since 
I checked out the Linux offerings.  Perhaps it's time to see what's WORKING and STABLE in the Linux 
video world these days for simple home movie creation.
