[CVALE] Workshop / Installfest

Thanks for your helpful reply.  I started to give up on Linux distros, maybe wait until a stable desktop Distro has evolved.  Until this morning...Windows XP crashed again...!  You know the dreaded STOP error (I didn't load any new programs, or change hardware, its the way Windows greets you while your trying to check your morning email.
   
  I checked the error codes from the WIN .dmp  files and ran Win Bugfix.   Nothing I can fix.  ALL my WIN drivers check out, my RAM memory checks out,but I always find the same WIN DLL's involved in my crashes...hhmm sounds like a 
  Must be the time to start learning about Linux.

What works best is ... If you have a problem that you'd like help with announce in on this list. 
Mention that you'll be at the Installfest/Workshop with your equipment. Hopefully you'll get a 
response from someone who says they can meet you at Fire2Wire and help with your problem.

In the days leading up to the meeting at Fire2Wire you can continue working on the problem and 
soliciting suggestions on this list. You may be able to solve the issue that way.
