CValers,
I'm hoping you Linux programming guru's can help me out with this one.
I'm trying to compare a version of a fork of an open source program that
I work on with a version of the original. Specifically, I want to
determine which folders and files exist in the directory structure for
the source code of the fork, but not in the original.
I was about to download a virus-ridden shareware utility for MS Windows
to do this, but then I realized Linux probably already had what I
needed. Is there a tool that will do what I desire?
Thanks,
Landon
P.S. - OpenSuSE wouldn't install on my home computer's hardware, so I
decided to try dual-booting Debian with Fedora 6. I have burned the DVD
for Fedora, and I might get to do the install tonight. I ended up
deleting my home partition with the qtparted, and splitting some of the
home partition out for Fedora, and then resinstalling my home partition
from the back-up. This seemed to work O.K. I'll let you guys know how
the Fedora install goes.
