Thanks, Matt (I'm glad to hear SOMEBODY's working overtime <g>), Ian,
and earlier posters.

Went ahead and put the NETBIOS name (back) in there, and I guess THAT
becomes the primary identifier to WIN now. (Had already figured out the
users stuff--though I "cheated" and used KDE GUI tools.)

Still not clear on that whole "hostname" subject, but I'm running.  

Now back to the CMS wars....
