[CVALE] Problem with Ubuntu Installation

Well you are missing quite a few key bits.  What is the output from these
commands:

ifconfig -a
route -n
cat /etc/resolv.conf

if you are running DHCP on the network try running dhclient from the command
line.

Hmmm... also,  what type of NIC is it running?
