[CVALE] samba+sbs=sleepless nights

Does anyone have any experience/tips/tricks on how to get a linux/samba
fileserver to peacefully coexist with a w2k3 small business server such
that all users will get their network drives (from the samba server)
properly mounted when they sign in (using the sbs for single sign-in
purposes, of course)?

(Free advise welcomed, though ultimately there is a paying customer
behind the request.)
