Pete,

I had trouble with the USB printer driver a while ago similar to this
and so I gave up on it at the time and used JetDirect instead. For the
uninitiated I am wondering if you can provide a link to some
diagnostics to try, or otherwise explain how you figure that the
adapter is bad instead of the driver? I am getting ready to hook up a
new USB printer for which I have no JetDirect port available so I
might benefit from having this information.
