[CVALE] Dynamic DNS

Most of the DNS updating clients they have you install on your system
is really just a perl script that watches for a change in your
dynamic ip and then broadcasts it back to the host. You can find the
perl script out there and then set up a cron job to do it.

I use one of the inexpensive Linksys WRT54g routers (has the
functionality built in because it's Linux) and then broadcast back to
DYNDNS.ORG who takes care of the actual DNS pass through.

DYNDNS is free for private use with one of their domains but you pay
for using your own domain name. It's not that expensive though.

Mac users can also get the DYNDNS widget which will give your mac
it's own domain to play with.

Good luck.
