Yeah., and each can have three logical partitions. Primary 1 can
have logical partitions 5, 6, and 7. Primary 2 can have 8, 9, and 10,
and so on. I settled for four primaries, /, /pub, /usr/src, and swap.
I figure I can play around with things to my heart's content when I have
a running OS and another hard drive. I managed to get the partitions
formatted, then get lost in the menus. SpeakUp is making things pretty
confusing, saying both where the cursor lands, and where it left,
witch change depending on whether you're cursoring up or down.
<laughs> I'm still stuck at the point where I'm supposed to select
where to get the files/packages from, while trying to make sure that the
speakup.s kernal also gets installed. If I don't, I'll have another
system with no sound. When trying to get through that, SpeakUp
insists on saying only "Okay/Cancel" so I can't tell where the
highlighted item is. <shrugs> I just came back into Mickeysoft to
re-read the Slackware docs. At least I'm not having to reboot every 30
minutes while trying. I have a nice double-barreled 12 guage just
*waiting* for Windows. <twists mustache in anticipation> Gonna try
looking for subscripts off of the setup script. Maybe I can bypass all
these menus.

         Michael
