[CVALE] My next big step with Linux...

It's very possible, and a good project for learning more about linux and
networking. You'll either need a network switch/hub, a second NIC card
for your linux box and a tool like "arno's iptables firewall" to help
you set up the linux firewall and internet sharing capabilities, or a
router appliance. I suggest the Buffalo WHR-G54S (~$45 at Best Buy in
Stockton) flashed with dd-wrt linux based firmware http://www.dd-wrt.com/ .
