The most I know about C, is there has to be a "main()" function,
which can call other created functions. That, and you have to "include"
header libraries to support the commands you've used (dot-h files). The
only advice I can give you is work your way up to the heavier stuff like
kernal internals. Grab the source for smaller C programs, like the cp,
mv, and cat commands first. Smaller programs will be far less
overwhelming (as they would be for me. Me, I can't even get linux
running, or rather, the espeak screen reader for the viz-impared.
Stoopid audio chip. Anyway, I wish I could help you out more. The
farthest I got into C was hacking screen text in the WWIV BBS code about
a decade ago. When they ported to the $600 compiler, I quit.
