    Hello again,

I have a question about the cp command. In trying to write a script
to set up Linux for sound, I'm trying to use the cp command to copy a
file from /cdrom to /etc/modules. In Debian, all the files in
/etc/modules are appended together to create the /etc/modules.conf
file. I may need to overwrite an audio card settings file in getting
the sound system configured, but I don't have access to the cp man
page. I've forgotten the command line switch(es) to overwrite an
existing file "without question." I think it was "-q" and/or something
else. Could someone remind me what it/they are please? Thank you,

       Michael
