[CVALE] Question about Linux Networking Basics: Adding a Computer

Yes, this is definitely a job for samba. You don't want a unique domain 
name though - the domain name is best to have the same on all the 
computers - you want a unique *hostname* 
(myhostname.mydomainname.local). Hopefully others with more time can 
fill in more details (ip addresses, netmasks, smb.conf, share names, 
workgroups, yada yada yada).

This is also a great opportunity to learn about web serving, email 
serving, ftp serving, print serving... I could go on and on. :-)
