I used to hate that button mouse way back when, but funny enough...
Since I've been using Dvorak, that I have yet to have that problem.  I
really hate the touchpads on PC-based laptops because quite frankly,
they suck.  The mac touchpad is awesome for the two-finger scrolling.
But otherwise, I'd much rather go button mouse than touchpad.

Even then, I carry a Logitech VX Revolution in my laptop bag, so when
I'm out and about, I have a real mouse with me. :-)  If you have the
means, I *highly* recommend picking one up.
