[CVALE] Microsoft Supporting ODF?

Thanks Ian.

I was just curious about this. I thought maybe Microsoft was finally
admitting defeat at some level.

Thank goodness some government officials in Europe have some sense and
keep Microsoft in check. It's too bad the same thing can't happen here
in the US.

I really believe an open standard for office documents, like ODF, will
really benefit all of society in the long run. That is one of the
greatest things about open source for me.

Landon

I don't think anything much will come out of this - other than MS
trying to inject their own crap into the standard, or at least into
their version of the standard. Either that, or I'm spending too much
time listening to my inner cynic. :-)
