[CVALE] Wireless Internet on Ubuntu Again

I found out the latest version of Ubuntu (9.10) was supposed to support
my wireless network card out of the box. So I upgraded this morning. I
think Ubuntu now recognizes the card, but I can't figure out how to
activate it.
I've attached a screenshot of the Ubuntu Network Tools dialog box. You
can see my wireless network card interface listed, but the "state" is
"inactive". Any idea how I make it "active"? That is the current state
of the wired Ethernet connection.
Thanks for the suggestions.
Landon
