Hey all,

I've got an opening that night (usually I have a meeting on Tuesday
nights, but not this week). I'll try and make it.

Hey, Erik, if you do have any questions, post it on list as folks here
can probably get to it faster than I, but as you know I'm a big Fedora
user. Also, #fedora on IRC at chat.freenode.net is a great place for
fast real-time support.

Another good resource is just to pick up a Linux (especially
RedHat/Fedora) book at the library. Costs nothing, just don't get
something too dated (I saw a RedHat 7.3 book there yesterday, hah!).
You can search their catalogs online ahead of time and have it requested
even if at another branch so you can pick it up locally.

Even though you might not get the latest and greatest info, some things
don't change that much. Basic Unix/Linux commands are almost always
going to be valid. I think that's a good place to start, and then add
the newest-fangled stuff on later on.

I picked up a CSS book at the Library Saturday, to brush up on my HTML
skills. Even though it was published in 2006, it's still good info.
Even with newer modifications, it's still a good basis for me to learn
CSS (heh, I learned how to write webpages in the HTML3 days, just as
HTML4 came out, and I saw the book for that there too). I know more
than enough to be dangerous, and mostly Wordpress and free themes get me
by just fine, but I always want to adjust things just a bit. But by no
means do I want to become a web designer, heh.
